About Penrith and the Border Labour Party
The Penrith and the Border Constituency (wikipedia) covers an electorate of 65,234 people over 3,100 square Km making it the largest and least populated constituency in England.
The Penrith and the Border Constituency Labour Party (CLP) comprises five Branches (Alston Moor, Brampton and Area, Eden and Penrith, Upper Eden and Wigton) and an active and growing membership. The Executive Officers of this CLP shall be: chair, vice-chair, vice-chair/membership, secretary, treasurer, women’s officer. At least three of these officers shall be women.
The CLP Executive Committee consists of the CLP officers and two elected delegates from each Branch. Any member of the CLP may attend the CLP Executive meeting as an observer.
